In Lappland, there is also a chance to see the norhern light, which also have made Sweden famous. A cold winter in Lappland, the temperature can went down to 30- degrees or even under that. So if you are going to visit the home of santa, be prepared for the cold and dress warm. In Lappland, many people make their living out of the tourists that every year are visiting. In Romaniemi, Santa Claus lives with his wife, his elves and his reindeer, and to his home a lot of tourists comes every year to see him. Of course, this is a very popular trip for families with younger kids. In Lappland, there are still som natives called Samer, living. Many tourists are visiting Lappland not only for santa´s sake, but also for the very beautiful nature and landscape which is so typical for northern scandinavian.
