Your Experience
On your full size automatic quad bike you'll take to the woodland tracks and negotiate the challenges ahead. Each rider is welcome to go at his or her own pace and an instructor is there at all times to ensure safety is paramount. You will be amazed just where these tiny but mighty machines can take you!
Approximate Itinerary:
- Safety briefing and introduction to the vehicles
- Practice session on a simple course
- Your instructor will take you on a course of more ambitious
terrain. You will have the chance to negotiate dips, mounds
and ruts.
- Return to base for debriefing
Vital information
Minimum age varies from 16 to 18 (depending on venue chosen). You do not need any previous experience.
The weather
The weather should not affect this experience, but any cancellations are for your own safety.
Session length
Duration will vary according to your choice of venue but as a guide will last approximately two and a half hours, including two hours driving time, all briefings and a hose down of vehicle and driver (depending on venue).
Numbers
There will be a maximum of eight people taking part, depending on the venue. At least one instructor will be with the group at all times.
Spectators
This experience is generally not suitable for spectators.
Dress code
Dress for the outdoors, i.e. warmly if it's cold, with stout boots and a waterproof jacket. Wear old clothes as you will get muddy (especially your shoes). Bring a change of clothes for the journey home.
Availability
Weekend dates approximately once every two months at some venues, less frequently at others. All booking is subject to availability.
