The Experience
You now have the chance to enjoy close hand the enchanting and mystical world of handling Owls. These popular and well loved of all Bird of Prey will fly for you in hand.
At our conservation Trust you'll be met at the reception by your two hosts. After a brief introduction to your fellow guests and a run through of the course itinerary, your experience session will begin.
There will be the opportunity to fly several species of owl, such as the Barn Owl from Britain and other owl's from around the world during your session, and learn about the conservation work carried out by the Trust.
During a break for tea/coffee you will be joined by one of the Trust’s Barn Owls, and have the opportunity to view and handle this stunning bird at close quarters.
The Trust is more than happy for photographs to be taken as a memento of your day, so please bring a camera. Your hosts will be on hand to take photos of you with these birds of prey.
All training and equipment required for your session, and tea/coffee are included in the cost of your day.
