The Experience
The highlight of any visit to London is a 'flight' on the World renowned BA London Eye, the World's largest observation wheel. At an incredible 135 metres above the River Thames in a high-tech fully enclosed capsule the 360 degree panoramic views are truly breathtaking. You will be able to see the House of Parliament, St Paul's and Hampstead Heath. If the day is perfect you may be able to also see as far as Windsor Castle! With views stretching 25 miles it is an incredible journey spotting London's famous streets, churches, palaces and monuments spread out below in a panoramic scene grown up from Roman times.
For a completely different perspective consider a night flight. Visit the Eye after dark and you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of London with stunning buildings such as the Houses of Parliament, St Paul's Cathedral, Battersea Power Station and the Oxo Tower lit up. Alternatively, visit at sunset and see the skyline awash with vibrant colours and the city's lights come on during your 30 minute flight. As the River Thames weaves its way through the heart of London there is history around every bend.
After and or before your flight you both can get on a Thames Cruise ship. Your ticket means you can get on and off as much as you like and the piers provide easy access to London's most famous sites like Westminster Abbey, the houses of parliament, Tate modern Art Gallery, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and many more...
Cruises depart frequently from Westminster Pier, Waterloo (London Eye) Pier, Tower Pier and Greenwich Pier every day of the year except Christmas Day (25th December).
Come aboard one of our modern, wheelchair-friendly cruises, with their open upper decks, spacious, comfortable lower saloons and cruise in comfort past London’s world-famous landmarks. Relax and enjoy the unsurpassable views and full bar services as London’s famous sights glide by.
