Your Experience
Getting into the cage with the sharks around is truly the most breath-taking experience you will ever live to remember. When feeding actively around the boat, the sharks may occasionally brush their tail against the cage, but NEVER attack the cage. They are very curious though and often come close-up to the cage, taking a closer look at the diver. A personal eye-to-eye encounter with this awesome animal is guaranteed to get the adrenaline going!
Itinerary

Vital information
A scuba certification is not a necessity to be able to dive in the cage, as we also allow snorkeling. While certified scuba divers dive on scuba, inexperienced divers are able to enjoy the same experience on snorkel. Both methods are equally comfortable and takes place under strict supervision of our Dive Master.
The weather
This varies with the tides, full moon, wind & weather conditions. We can only confirm exact time of launch at 15h00 the day before.
Dress code
Bring your diving card/certificate, warm jacket, peak cap, towel, costume, sunblock, comfortable shoes & cameras (we do stock disposable underwater cameras at r150.00). if required seasick tabs should be taken 2hrs before launch. We recommend “stugeron” tabs which should be purchased the day before at the pharmacy. No diving gear necessary except prescription masks if necessary. We recommend that you do not overindulge in alcohol the night before as this could make you seasick the next day!!
Diving qualification & Procedure
Open water 1 qualification is required in order to go on scuba & experienced, unqualified divers will be able to snorkel in the cage. Your own safety is our concern. Surface viewing from the boat is truly spectacular as the great white is a surface feeder. You do not have to dive to view the great white! As we are dealing with a wild animal all divers will go through the cage on breathold first & then q/d will be able to go on scuba in case the bubbles affect the sharks.
